Don't Make The Same Mistake Twice...

We have all heard the saying "don't make the same mistake twice" but do you really absorb that lesson or do you form a habit?

When we consume food/liquid our bodies absorb and digest it. What we eat determines whether we have healthy nutrition or chemicals flowing through and stored in our bodies.

Well, the same goes for thoughts and experiences.

Just like food, we also consume thoughts and experiences. They are also absorbed into our bodies, entering into our neural pathways. Depending on what you absorb they too will have a positive or negative impact on your body.

Repeating the same mistake, even if it is just once becomes a habit. The problem with negative habits is that your body stores this and if negatives experiences compound to where it becomes overwhelming, disorders and disease will eventually arise.

The best way to break the negative cycle is to start new healthy habits and to become more aware of what you consume.

My yoga sequences reflect this message that positive thoughts entering into your body can and will have a positive effect.

Quick tip: Yoga isn't about stretching the muscle, it's about stretching the mind and releasing tension stored in your body.

Have a beautiful and abundant week ahead.

Namaste.
